Meet the PTO

Read a little bit about your 2018-2019 PTO board members.

President - Barb Hunter

 Vice-President - Adrienne Landis

Secretary - April Collins

My name is April and I am happy to be a part of the BES PTO this year.  Over the past 6 years, I have volunteered my time and creativity at various PTO events, but I decided to take on the role of secretary for the 2018-2019 school year.

I have lived in the BASD for 10 years and I continue to be amazed by the education and opportunities that this district has to offer!  I have two active and loving children that keep me busy when I am not at work.  My daughter is entering the middle school this year and my son is entering 4th grade.  My children are involved with football, baseball, cheerleading, girl scouts, and cub scouts.  Don’t blink because they grow up way too fast.

As for me, I am beginning my 12th year teaching middle school in a neighboring school district. When I am not at work, I enjoy being outside, traveling, cheering on local sports, helping others, being crafty, and enjoying my own children.  I am looking forward to the school year!!  Go Bears!

Treasurer - Kendall Madeja

Hi! My name is Kendall, and I am excited to be Treasurer for the 2018-2019 school year! I have been involved in the PTO for 5 years, chairing the Walkathon for the past 2. My son, Jayden, is in his final year at BES. Where has the time gone?

I am a teacher in the East Penn School District. When I’m not in a school (either teaching or volunteering), I am watching my son play baseball and basketball, enjoying the beach, reading, or spending time with my family.

We have an admirable school with wonderful children and dedicated teachers.  I look forward to another great year!
